Out of all the places Iβve visited in 2025, Naxos is the one that quietly slipped into my heart and has absolutely refused to leave.

3. Costa Brava, Spain – Mediterranean Summer Without the Crowds
Costa Brava is my go-to escape whenever life gets too busy – and honestly, I donβt think Iβll ever get tired of it.
Itβs close enough from Barcelona for a spontaneous weekend trip, but once you arrive, it already feels like a different world. It reminds me of my favorite island, Mallorca, but on peninsula.
What makes Costa Brava special is how easy it is to enjoy.
No overthinking, no complicated planning – just pick a direction, drive, and suddenly youβre at a tiny beach youβve never seen before, eating seafood that tastes like it was caught an hour ago.
Some of my favorite 2025 memories happened there.
Like the time we drove up to Calella de Palafrugell βjust for lunchβ and ended up staying all day because Max refused to leave the sand (and honestly, same).
